Set of social media graphics I designed for concert promotion group Valentine Collective. I used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to make these graphics.
Another flyer for Valentine Collective. I used Photoshop, Illustrator and Procreate to make these graphics. The main type and detailing was hand drawn in Procreate.
Flyer to promote an upcoming event for Ugly Duck Vintage at Shady's Bar. I drew the duck and background in Procreate and used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to add the final touches .
Social media graphic I designed for vintage pop-up Sid's Lucky No. 7. I created a set of templates that can be updated with upcoming monthly events. The background graphics were made in Photoshop and Illustrator, and the event/date type was set up in Canva to be accessible and easy to update.
These are concert flyers and promotional materials I have created for the MTSU-student-run venue Diana Street. As their graphic designer, I established a brand by creating my own custom typography for each flyer. Some typography is fully hand-drawn and some is Adobe Fonts type I customized in Adobe Illustrator.
These t-shirt designs were done in collaboration with Nashville–based design company Dead Horse Branding for my Visual Storytelling course at Middle Tennessee State University. We were provided with the images, copy and logo to created t-shirts memorializing the iconic musician Bo Diddley.
I took inspiration from his album covers for the color scheme and created two colorful, eye-catching designs for Dead Horse Branding to potentially sell as official Bo Diddley merchandise. I used Adobe Illustrator to create the designs and used Adobe Photoshop to alter the colors and add texture and halftones to the images. This project gave me experience working with a real design agency and was incredibly rewarding!

Tour poster I made for Otlo. I drew this in Procreate and added the date and location type in Adobe Illustrator.
I was the graphic designer for the three-time-award-winning short film Shadow of the Killer: The Kenny Lovelace Story shot by Middle Tennessee News. My logo work is featured in the beginning and end of the film, as well as on the Middle Tennessee News website. I based the design on the album art of Jerry Lee Lewis, the man Kenny Lovelace played violin for.
The film was awarded the 2024 Excellence in Broadcasting Award in the Best Local Use of Digital or Social Media Platforms category by the Tennessee Association of Broadcasters. It also won Silver in 2024 at The Telly Awards and Best Video Entertainment Program at the 2024 College Media Association Pinnacle Awards.
I won first place in Middle Tennessee State University's College of Media and Entertainment t-shirt design contest in 2023. The design had to include all the majors, minors and concentrations offered by the College of Media and Entertainment (CME), so my design process involved a lot of kerning and finessing the type to make it fit.
My design was printed on black t-shirts and distributed around campus at CME events and at the college's freshman orientation. It was awesome to walk around campus and see strangers wearing my t-shirt!

I was the first Strategic Communications intern for Middle Tennessee State University's Honors College. As their intern, I assisted the Strategic Communications Coordinator with marketing and designed social media posts, newsletters, signage, t-shirts and video content. This internship lasted one semester and gave me valuable in-office experience working as a graphic designer and copywriter. Below you will find some samples of my work for the Honors College.

I won second place in the True Blue Core pin design contest at Middle Tennessee State University in 2024. The goal was to design an enamel pin to promote the university's new curriculum program, True Blue Core. I based my design on the concept of children's building blocks because the new program focuses on building strong foundational skills for students. I created my design using Adobe Illustrator.
I did branding work for The Walden Hotel, a restoration project taking place in Harriman, TN. The 1890s boarding house is in the process of becoming an upscale cigar lounge and bar. I wanted to establish a brand identity that reflected the owner's vision while also highlighting the historic nature of the building.

This magazine layout was done for a project in my Visual Storytelling course at Middle Tennessee State University. The goal of the project was to create a cohesive magazine layout with all the required type. Outside of that, we were free to be as creative as possible with our designs!
I found stock photos I liked and edited them in Adobe Photoshop. I drew the "CHAT" logo on the cover by hand, scanned it in and used image trace in Adobe Illustrator to create a vector file. The layout for the magazine was done in Adobe InDesign.
I designed this graphic for the SideView podcast hosted by Sidelines, the student run news organization at Middle Tennessee State University. Other work I did for the podcast includes hosting, writing scripts, and editing the audio of some episodes. The design was created in Adobe Illustrator.
